Information regarding the Renters' Rights Act 2025 from 1 May 2026

Any insurance documentation issued for policies bought at this time won’t include the new legal changes and terminology while we make changes following the introduction of the Renters’ Rights Act. However, please rest assured our policy terms are unaffected, and policyholders can continue to make claims as normal. All policyholders will receive updated insurance documents at their next renewal.

  • To begin immediately prior to, or within 10 days of, the start date of a new tenancy agreement, or
  • Is directly replacing an existing equivalent policy which is due to cancel immediately before the policy start date.
